The event at the Mandolin Cafe' was a well-attended gathering of friends and readers. I had the privilege of interviewing a former student of mine who has autism and he aptly expressed some of his struggles and hopes in dealing with his disability. Opportunities for individuals with disabilities are still limited and we need to increase awareness and acceptance of those with differences among us. Thanks to Mohsen Mirghanbari for helping me set up this successful book event!

March 11th I had the privilege of delivering a rather impromptu book presentation, reading, and book signing at the Alderbrook Resort in Union, Washington, at the annual Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator's Conference. Good preparation for my upcoming book signing and reading at TACID (Tacoma Area Coalition for Individuals with Disabilities) April 7th 5:30-7:00, and my author event at the Mandolin Cafe' April 20th. An author event and book signing is now scheduled for April 20th, 7:00 at the Mandolin Cafe'. The Mandolin is located at 3923 S. 12th St., Tacoma. I will be giving a short presentation, Q & A, and will have a special speaker with disabilities. If you are planning to come, please RSVP me on this website. See you there!

Three book signings are planned for January and February. Details are yet to be finalized. One signing will be at a bookstore in Steilacoom, WA arranged by Brenda Gamble, teacher and enthusiast.  Two events are being planned by Mohsen Mirghanbari, Tacoma Book and Film Club organizer. The Tacoma Book Club is reading my book in January and will be discussing it at an event at the Mandolin Cafe', date/time TBA. Also, another author event is being planned at Masa Restaurant on 6th Ave. in Tacoma. Date/time TBA.

December 1st, 2009 saw my second book signing held at the Northern Pacific Coffee Company in Parkland, Washington.

My first book signing was held at the home of my good friends, Teresa Enslin and Doug Mosich November 8, 2009. Sales were brisk!
